1. SRH smashes record! HIGHEST IPL SCORES EVER: 287/3 (v RCB, 2024)

286/3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Sunrisers Hyderabad 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad holds the record for the Top 10 highest score in IPL history. This is better than the previous best of 277/3 set by SRH themselves, earlier in the IPL 2024 against MI at Hyderabad. • Most Runs in a T20 Match: The two teams matched 549 runs  (SRH 287 + RCB 262/7) giving the biggest-ever aggregate score in T20 cricket.

2. SRH’s 277/3 runs against Mumbai Indians (2024)

Sunrisers Hyderabad emerged the highest-ever total in the Indian Premier League and the 2nd highest overall. Sunrisers Hyderabad created history by scoring their highest total — 277/3 – against Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad.

• 77 — SRH’s best-ever Powerplay score as they zoomed to 81/1 in the first six overs, having previously gone 79 without an out.
• Abhishek Sharma at his very best (16-ball fifty, the fastest by an SRH batter)
• Dominant Start: SRH registered the halfway-highest total against SRH’s previous best was 131/3 by MI in 2021.

3. KKR’s 272/7 runs against Delhi Capitals (2024)

One record was set in the IPL, by Kolkata Knight Riders. Against Delhi Capitals, they scored a mammoth 272/7 to break many records! That is the second-highest-ever total in IPL! The match was held on 03rd April 2024 at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. KKR won the toss and chose to bat first, and registered victory by 106 runs. 

4. SRH’s 266/7 runs against Delhi Capitals (2024)

In the recent match against Delhi, Hyderabad posted their fourth-highest score in the history of the Indian T20 League. First, they batted and openers Travis Head’s 89 and Abhishek Sharma’s 46-powerplay run records were 125. Hyderabad posted 266 runs in 20 overs. The 2024 season has seen all the top four highest totals in IPL history.

5. RCB’s 263/5 runs against Pune Warriors (2013)

The third highest total in IPL- For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chris Gayle etched a highest-ever score of 175 off just 66 balls (and quickest-ever century in the IPL) on its way to aiding Royal Challengers Livepunjab up a daunting total onboard against the Sahara Pune Warriors batting first on 23rd April-2013 at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Still the highest score by an individual in the Indian T20 League and T20 cricket. Record-breaking win unfurls at the M.Chinnaswamy Pune obliterated to a 140-run loss.

6. In the 2024 IPL match between the (Punjab Kings and the Kolkata Knight Riders) 

Match Result: Punjab Kings won by eight wickets in 18.4 overs, chasing 262 for victory

• Match scores: KKR 261 for 6 (20 overs) vs PBKS 262 for 2 (18.4 overs)

7. 2024 IPL season: RCB vs. SRH

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) post 262/7; Highest aggregate in a T20 match, 549 runs scored across both innings; SRH hammered RCB by 118 runs chasing SRH’s massive total of 287/3.

8. Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Punjab Kings 2024 IPL season

At the Eden Gardens, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a gigantic total of 261/6 led by an explosive partnership in Phil Salt (75 runs) and Narine (71 runs) laying the foundation of perfect groundwork; however, the Punjab Kings hunted down this target proving to be another high-scoring engagement.

9. Delhi Captains(257/4) vs. Mumbai Indians 

Delhi Capitals amassed a huge total of 257/4 vs Mumbai Indians as they were no match for the high-scoring batting of DC, chiefly flourished through an explosive display led by Jake Fraser-McGurk, which took them to their top-most outcome in IPL over the MI pacers. 

10. Power Unleashed: LSG’s 257/5

Lucknow Super Giants came up with one of the most incredible batting sessions and finally returned six runs to reach the highest total in IPL history! An unbeaten 257/5 where Marcus Stoinis scored 72* (40 balls), Kyle Mayers scored 54* (24 balls), Nicholas Pooran with a quickfire 45 off just 19, and Ayush Badoni’s scintillating knock of 43 off 24 deliveries. Atharva Taide scored 66 runs (36 balls) but Punjab Kings had to taste defeat at the hands of LSG by 56 runs.
