Narendra Modi Stadium is located in Motera, Ahmedabad. It is also known as Sardar Patel Stadium. It is the largest cricket stadium in the world. The stadium was renovated and reopened in February 2020, with the name changed to honor the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. It is the home ground of the Gujarat cricket team. The stadium hosts various matches, such as international and domestic matches, at the stadium domestic tournaments, such as the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, and Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Various international matches, like test matches, ODIs, and T20 internationals, are also played at the stadium against other cricketing nations. It is built on the banks of the Sabarmati River on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. The land is around 63 acres, which the government donated. The most remarkable match at the stadium was the test match between India and England in February 2021. India won that match by ten wickets within two days, making it the shortest completed match since 1935.
