Strengths: Why CSK Still Feels Like a Family with Superhuman Abilities
MS Dhoni = Calm, Classy & Clutch
Is he 43? Yes. Does he still read the game like a chess grandmaster in cricket spikes? Yes. You can’t put a price on Dhoni. He’s the one that makes the magic happen.

Moeen, Jaddu, Stokes… it’s like a talent buffet. All will bowl, bat, baby-sit, and break-dance if required on their day. 😜

Between Pathirana’s sling, Theekshana’s mystery, and Chahar’s swing… not a bad trio. CSK should be able to strangle the chase and calm their death overs (big if!).
Weaknesses: Areas Where the Whistle Could Stumble
1. Aging Core – A Cold Truth
I get it, nostalgia is nice and hopeful. But I wouldn’t rely on those 40+ warriors to win you modern IPL’s.
Stokes fitness is always a question mark. And Dhoni cannot keep saving them (he can’t right?).
2. Top Order Juggling
Conway’s class is noticeable, but when he fails, CSK sometimes get into Plan B mode.
Gaikwad needs consistent support not cameo appearances.
3. Injury Carousel
CSK’s bowling unit seems to be on a thread.
Deepak Chahar’s hamstring is practically a sitcom at this point.
Can we please just bubble wrap Pathirana this season?
4. They Aren’t Fast Fielders
Let’s be honest… there not all winning sprints anytime soon.
At times, CSK’s fielding is like a bunch of Uncle’s running for a bus that is 5 seconds down the road.
So, Can CSK Win IPL 2025?
Emotionally, we’d all like to see Dhoni ride off into the sunset with one last trophy.
Tactically, it’s hard. They need to find a rhythm quickly and stay injury free while maximizing their bowling attack.
But don’t forget: CSK are the kings of comebacks. They’ve shocked us before. So why not again?
