Australia T20 World Cup Squad 2024: All Payers List

Australia T20 World Cup Squad 2024: The 2021 T20 World Cup champion Australia has announced its squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup. The squad chosen by the selection committee, headed by Goerge Bailey, left out many big names and in-form young players.

Steve Smith is the biggest name that has not been picked by Australian cricket team selectors. The selection committee head, George Bailey, thinks it is a balanced squad with a perfect blend of experienced campaigners and young talent.

After announcing the 15-member squad, Goereg Bailey stated, “This is an experienced squad with extensive World Cup experience that offers a variety of structures and covers the scenarios the panel believes will factor in the West Indies with the unique nature of the venues and our opponents.”

This Australian squad is looking like a balanced squad with enough options for batting and bowling. The all-rounders in this team are going to play a significant role in this T20 World Cup campaign. Australia will start their T20 World Cup 2024 against Oman on June 5, 2024.

This Australian side is a pretty balanced squad with enough bowling and batting options; this gives them the flexibility to feed a playing XI according to the playing conditions. Considering the hard and bouncy wickets of the West Indies, Australia’s bowling attack is looking lethal.

The 2021 edition champions will fancy their chances of winning this tournament, as the majority of their players are coming from a long IPL season and are in form. This allows the team to acclimate to the format and improves their chances of winning significantly.
