Warner, Williamson, Joseph, and Mitchell to make their debut in the upcoming 10th season of HBL PSL 2025
The draft of the upcoming 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was conducted successfully on Monday, January 13 at Huzoori Bagh in Lahore Fort. The six teams selected various renowned players of international crickets with 116 players from 10 countries on the rosters of the 10th season.
The tenth season of the PSL is set to kick off on April 8 with the finals on May 19. The two-time champion Lahore Qalaandars roped New Zealand batsman Daryl Mitchell as their first pick in the draft. 2020 Champions Kings acquired former Australia batter David Warner, the second pick in the first Platinum round.
Legendary New Zealand batter Kane Williamson was picked by Karachi Kings in the supplementary Round 1 after finding no place in the Platinum round. Karachi Kings also signed Kiwi pacer Adam Milne.
Meanwhile, US batsman-wicketkeeper Andries Gous was another remarkable pick in the draft as he is the second player from the country to be picked in PSL following fast bowler Ali Khan, who was signed by Karachi Kings for the 2020 campaign.
