Scotland T20 World Cup Squad 2024: Scotland has announced their T20 World Cup squad of 15 members, which will be led by Richie Berrington. The Scottish selectors keep their faith in the experienced players and call back Michael Jones and Brad Wheal for the Scotland T20 World Cup Squad 2024. Jones and Wheal were part of Scotland’s T20 World Cup 2022 campaign. But they were excluded from the team since then, and now they get a call back to the squad to be a part of another T20 World Cup journey for Scotland.
The Scottish coach shared his views on the selection of Jones and Wheal. “To have Michael Jones and Brad Wheal available, their experience from previous T20 World Cups is crucial for the group.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting them both, getting to know them and seeing their skills up close. The bulk of the squad have been together for a while now and did a fantastic job last summer at both the 50-over Qualifier and the T20 Qualifier.
“It’s nice to have a bit of continuity along the way, although they haven’t played a lot of cricket since. Hopefully we can see the same level from these players, if not higher, when we get to the Caribbean.”

Scotland is one of the top cricket-playing nations in Europe. They have always been a surprise package of cricket World Cups that produced surprising results regularly. In the T20 World Cup 2022, they surprised the West Indies, and in the 2021 edition, they produced the best T20 World Cup campaign of their history, where they reached the Super 12 stage.
Scotland will begin their endeavor in this T20 World Cup against the current champions, England, on June 4 at Bridgetown in Barbados. Scotland is in Group B of this World Cup with Australia, England, Oman, and Namibia.
