Nepal has announced their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is their second stint only at the biggest stage of cricket. Before this, the Nepal cricket team appeared at the 2014 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which was held in Bangladesh.
From 2014 to 2024, between these 10 years, Sompal Kami is the only player that has been included in the Nepal T20 World Cup Squad 2024. Apart from Kami, there are many experienced players on the Nepalese team.
Captain Rohit Paudel will lead the team, and Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sandeep Jora will be responsible for scoring runs for Nepal.
In this T20 World Cup, Dipendra Singh Airee will be the player to watch from this Nepal team, as he is coming off after recently breaking Yuvraj Singh’s record of hitting six sixes in an over against Qatar.
Sompal Kami and skipper Rohit Paudel will add experience to the squad and also lead the all-rounder’s department in this Nepal T20 squad.

Nepal is in Group D of the T20 World Cup 2024 with South Africa, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh. Nepal’s T20 World Cup campaign will kick off against the Netherlands on June 4, 2024.
