How were Indian players selected for the 2015 World Cup?

Life wasn’t as rosy for the left-hand opener in 2014 because it became in 2013, while he made a lovely return to the side with centuries in first ODIs. Too many middling ratings and aborted starts display how Dhawan has struggled to dominate, at the same time as a batting average of 33.71 outside of Asia and 57.90 in the continent absolutely shows. In ODIs across England and New Zealand, half centuries are made by dhawan. He did find some contact in his most recent ODI series, with ratings of 113, 79 and 91 versus Sri Lanka at home in November, and that looks to have sealed Dhawan a ticket to his first World Cup.

An average and strike rate bloated by using one innings – 264 off 173 balls towards Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens. That document ODI innings also makes up for roughly 45% of Rohit’s runs over the year. That apart, he made 3 centuries in Hamilton, Dhaka and Cardiff in each of his away tours. Like Dhawan, he had a series of end 20s and 30s. Like Dhawan, this is Rohit’s first World Cup.

India’s No. 3 and top batsman in ODI cricket was, as anticipated, very solid over the past twelve months. He started 2014 with 123 off 111 balls in Napier and took extra 50s off New Zealand’s assault. During the Asia Cup, Kohli collected another century. His form dipped at some level in a hard tour of England, however Kohli bounced again at home with a run of scores that examine 62, 127, 22, 49, 53, 66 and 139* in opposition to the West Indies and Sri Lanka. This is his second World Cup.
