India’s innings in the 1983 Cricket World Cup Final

India’s innings in the 1983 Cricket World Cup Final is one of the most famous innings in cricket records. Batting first, India became in trouble at 17/5 while Kapil Dev came to the end. Dev proceeded to attain 175 runs, the best score by an Indian batsman in a World Cup final, and helped the Indian team to complete 183/8.

Dev’s innings was a masterclass in great batting. He shows bowling skills and scores many scores. He hit 16 fours and a number of sixes, and he in no way gave up even when India was in trouble.
