  • 25 September 2016 – The teams again clashed for an ODI series during the Afghanistan tour of Bangladesh. Bangladesh scored 265 runs, while Afghanistan were bowled out for 258 runs, but they showcased tough competition.   • 3 June 2018 – The second AFG vs BAN T20 Battle occurred on this day when Afghanistan emerged victorious by 45 runs during the Afghanistan tour of India.   • 14-17 June 2023 – The most recent Test match between AFG and BAN was played on 14 June 2023, during the Afghanistan tour of Bangladesh. Bangladesh scored a total of 158 runs, with a fall of 4 wickets, while Afghanistan managed to get 156 runs, with all wickets down. This match also went in favor of Bangladesh and they won by 6 wickets. This match was exciting and thriller at the same time. 
  • 24 June 2024 – The most recent T20 match between both teams was played on this day during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. For a change, this victory came in favor of Afghanistan, who won the match by 8 runs. They scored a total of 115 runs, with 5 wickets down, while Bangladesh managed to chase only 105 runs, with all wickets down. There was a sheer competitive spirit from both teams.
