Match Summary: Yesterday’s IPL Match Result LSG vs. GT  Match No.21: Who Won Yesterday’s IPL Match?

Yesterday’s IPL match result went in the favor of Lucknow Super Giants; they beat Gujarat Titans by 33 runs. In match no.21 of 2024 IPL, LSG won the toss and decided to bat first at Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow. Invited to bowl first, the Gujarat Titans had a perfect start to the game when Umesh Yadav got the wicket of Quinton De Kock on the 4th delivery of the 1st over of the innings. This became the template for the LSG’s innings, and wickets kept falling at regular intervals. It took Marcus Stoinis’ fifty and some quickfires from Nicholas Pooran and Aysuh Badoni to take Super Giants to a respectable total of 163 runs.

This target was looking like just a formality for Gujarat to take two more points under their belt in 2024 IPL season, courtesy of their in-form betting lineup. Until the 6th over of the Titans’ innings, things were going in the favor of Gujarat when young pacer Yash Thakur bowled Shubhman Gill. But the actual turning point of this match came when Ravi Bishnoi took an absolute blinder catch of Kane Williamson on his own delivery. After that, Krunal Pandya got 2 wickets in his over to crumble down Gujarat’s middle order. Wickets at regular intervals were the biggest reason why Gujarat Titans bundled out 130 runs in just 18.5 overs. Yash Thakur and Krunal Pandya were the spearheads of Lucknow’s bowling last night, taking 5 and 3 wickets, respectively.
