India vs Bangladesh Full Scorecard, 3rd T20I, Hyderabad, Oct 12, 2024

India humbled Bangladesh by handing them one of the worst defeats in their T20I history, in the 3rd T20I match of the Ind vs Ban T20I series in Hyderabad. Their third-ever biggest win 133 runs, in T20s that took place at Uppal Stadium, where India smashed several records during their record score of 297/6 in 20 overs.

After electing to bat first in the third over of India’s inning, Abhishek Sharma was dismissed by Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and it was looking like this was going to be a usual T20I encounter where India would dominate Bangladesh and score some 190 to 200 runs. But these all speculations were made before the arrival of Surya Kumar Yadav on the crease. Surya and Sanju joined hands and hit all around the park at will. India broke seven records in this game, including the highest team total by a test-playing nation, 2nd fastest team 200 in T20Is, most 10+ overs in an innings in T20Is, etc.

Sanju Samson scored his T20I career’s first century before getting out on 111 (47). Sanju Samson 111 (47), Surya Kumar Yadav 75 (35), Hardik Pandya 47 (18), and Riyan Parag 34 (13) propelled India to the second-highest team total in T20Is—297/6. Bangladesh, who was already mentally deflated, came to chase the impossible target of 298 and looked bamboozled while batting, ending their innings with a score of 164/7 in 20 overs. Only Liton Das and Towhid Hridoy showed some intent and resistance while batting, scoring 42 off 25 and 63 off 42, respectively.
