Fans Make Fun of Pakistani Players After Using Mattresses for Catching Practice

The Pakistani Cricket Team has provided another light moment, as a video on the internet went viral in which Pakistani players can be seen indulging in catching practice with mattresses on the ground.

The Pakistani players devised another inventive way to improve their fielding in practice sessions. In this video, Pakistani players are preparing for a single-handed diving catch on mattresses.

This is the second time the Pakistan cricket team has been trolled for their unique practice methods. Some time ago, a similar kind of video went viral in which Pakistani players were seen training for the T20 World Cup while enduring military workouts at an army camp.

Fans, however, have not been kind to their daring actions and have frequently voiced their disgust on social media. The unconventional training methods used by the Pakistan cricket team have drawn criticism, with many doubting their ability to enhance on-field performance. On the other hand, some fans found it amusing and made fun of the players seen in the video.

Pakistan’s recent T20 World Cup campaign was forgettable, as they were eliminated in the first round. Pakistan was drawn into Group A, where it lost to its fiercest foe, India, and also suffered a humiliating defeat from the co-hosts, the United States. Pakistan’s next challenge on the cricket field is a two-match test series against Bangladesh, followed by three test matches against England.
