22 Years Young Talented Batter “Jake Fraser McGurk” Added to the Australia Squad

The young and talented batsman from Australia has finally got a chance in the Australian traveling reserve squad. Jake Fraser McGurk is in the best form of his cricketing career and it is already reflected in the Indian Premier League where he played some breathtaking innings with an astonishing strike rate of 234.04 by scoring 330 runs in the last nine innings of IPL matches and just because of his excellent performance the talented batsman has shown his talent and now become part of the Australian Reserve traveling squad.  

Jake Fraser McGurk is not the only one who has been selected for the reserve squad with him. The 28-year-old Matthew Short has also been selected for the squad as an all-rounder. Both of the players play for the same league team “Victoria” and now because of his stellar performance, they have got a berth in the Australian reserve squad. Matt and Jake both have unique talents, where Jake is known for his big hitting, and on the other side, Short always leads his way with his all-rounding performance, and because of the red-hot form, they got selected in the Australia reserve traveling squad. 

The half-Australian team will take a flight for the T20 World Cup on the 23rd of May for a training camp in Trinidad, later which includes two warm up matches for the team with Namibia on May 28th and with West Indies on the 30th of May.  

The rest of the left-out players of Australia like Mitchel Starc, Maxwell, Pat Cummins, and Cameron Green will join the squad later just because of the IPL playoffs. The Australian squad looks well-balanced and strong as usual and now two new talented players have been added to the traveling squad Matt and Jake, who also can get a chance to play for Australia in the World Cup only when any circumstances will take place.
