Yesterday’s IPL Match Result GT vs. PBKS Match No.17: Who Won Yesterday’s IPL Match?

In yesterday’s IPL match, PBKS beat GT by 3 wickets thanks to a miraculous innings by Shashank Singh. This match was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Punjab Kings won the toss in Narendra Modi Stadium and invited hosts to bat first. Gujarat had a decent start to the innings, and their top-order batsmen did their job. But cameos from Sai Sudhrashan and Rahul Tewatia played a major role, along with Shubhman Gill’s 89 run innings for Gujarat to set a 200-run target for guests. Punjab’s bowling line-up was looking dull last night. Kagiso Rabada, Sam Curran, Arshdeep Singh all of them were looking out of form.

Punjab’s hopes of chasing this target started to fade away with the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan in the second over of the innings. PBKS kept losing wickets at regular intervals, but they kept themselves within touching distance of the required run rate. In the 13th over of the innings, Shashank Singh arrived, and from there, the match started turning towards the Punjab Kings. Along with Shashank Singh, Ashutosh Sharma and Jitesh Sharma played an important role with their cameos in Punjab’s triumph. Shashank Singh was named Man of the Match for his tremendous innings of 61 not out off 29 balls.
