Match Summary: Yesterday’s IPL Match Result CSK vs. KKR Match No.22: Who Won Yesterday’s IPL Match?

Yesterday’s IPL match result went in favor of the Chennai Super Kings. Last night, the wicket at MA Chidambaram Stadium was supporting spinners, and Chennai’s spinners took full advantage of this. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and chose to bowl first, which was a good move considering the nature of the pitch. Invited to bat first, KKR had the worst possible start to an inning; they lost opener Phil Salt at the very first ball of the inning by Tushar Deshpande. From there, KKR kept losing wickets at regular intervals thanks to Jadeja’s exceptional display of spin bowling; Tushar Deshpande and Mustafizur Rahman supported him brilliantly in bundling out KKR cheaply. Coming to chase down this target, CSK never got out of control of the game; Captain Ruturaj scored an unbeaten half century and took his team to the finish line.
