Pakistan First Victory: 1954

  • Date: June 10, 1954
  • Venue: The Oval, London
  • Result: Pakistan won by 24 runs

The Pakistani team presented an uphill task of 249/6 off a brilliant innings by the captain Imran Khan with 72 runs. England walked out very nicely, but the Pakistan bowlers, led by Wasim Akram and Mushtaq Ahmed leading the troop, heated things.   • Result: England won after Pakistan refused to take the field

The 2010 cricket series between England and Pakistan was marred by a spot-fixing scandal where three players – Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif, and Mohammad Amir – were implicated. It was all during the fourth Test against England at Lord’s, as Pakistan was beaten by an innings and 225 runs. Pakistan cricket was left shaken by the scandal that tore through it, with its representatives facing several bans and eventually legal action as well.

  • Date: July 16, 2021
  • Venue: Various venues in England
  • Result: England won 2-1

In the 2021 T20I series, Pakistan and England played some high-scoring games. Pakistan won the first match by scoring 232/6, with exceptional performances from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. However, England came back strongly to win the next two matches and claim the series 2-1. The series also saw the impressive show of England’s Liam Livingstone, who scored a stunning 103 off 43 balls in the second T20I. 

Pakistan vs England (PAK vs ENG):2022, T20 World Cup Final

  • Date: November 13, 2022
  • Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia
  • Result: England won by 5 wickets

In the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup final, England and Pakistan face off in an encounter. Pakistan posted a modest total of 137/8, with Shaheen Afridi delivering a fiery spell before suffering an injury. England’s Ben Stokes stepped up with an unbeaten 52 to guide his team to victory, securing England’s second T20 World Cup title.

England vs Pakistan (ENG vs PAK): 2023, World Cup Clash

England and Pakistan clashed in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup match, with England batting first and scoring 298/8 as Jonny Bairstow slammed 59 runs. Pakistan could do little about that except wait as the bowlers, especially David Willey, clutched 3/56. They were bowled out for 244, and England won by 93 runs.
