Yesterday’s IPL Match Result PBKS vs. GT Match No. 37: Who Won Yesterday IPL Match 2024 Result

Yesterday IPL match result: Gujarat Titans beat Punjab Kings by 3 wickets in match no. 37 of IPL 2024. This match was played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mohali. This match was a low-scoring encounter dominated by the bowlers, which is an unlikable thing according to the recent trend of the IPL. But this match belongs to the bowler and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishor’s player of the match award verifies this fact.

Match Summary: Yesterday’s IPL Match Result PBKS vs. GT Match No. 37: Who Won Yesterday’s IPL Match?

Last night, Punjab and Gujarat were up against each other at Punjab’s home ground, Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium. In Mohali, the coin fell in the favor of the home team, and they decided to bat first. Asked to bowl first, the Gujarat Titans have not shown the spark in the initial phase of their bowling and Punjab made a decent start to the inning, taking their score to 50 runs in just five overs. But from there, Punjab’s innings collapsed and went from 52/1 in 5.3 overs to 99/7 in 15.2 overs. Thanks to Harpreet Brar’s late cameo of 29 off 12, PBKS reached 142 runs in 20 overs.

In answer to this small target, Gujarat had a shaky start, losing Saha at just 25 runs in 3.4 overs. Punjab Kings struck at regular intervals, taking crucial wickets like Shubhman Gill, David Miller and Sai Sudarshan but that was not enough to defend such a small target. GT chased down this target in the 19th over, Rahul Tewatia was the leading run scorer for Gujarat, scoring unbeaten 36 off 18 deliveries. Gujarat’s Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore was named man of the match for his brilliant bowling display, taking four wickets for thirty-three runs.
