Who Won Yesterday Match T20 World Cup 2024: Afghanistan registered a 7-wicket win over Papua New Guinea in match 29 of the T20 World Cup 2024. With this win, Afghanistan entered the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024. This group C fixture took place at the Brian Lara cricket stadium in Tarouba, where Afghanistan chose to field first after winning the toss. Invited by Afghanistan to bat first, Papua New Guinea were not received well, as they were bundled out on 95 runs in 19.5 overs.

The 96-run target was not enough to stop Afghanistan from storming into the Super 8 stage of the 2024 World Cup. Afghanistan did all the formalities in 15.1 overs and took two crucial points.
