IPL over the years
Yadav signed an Indian Premier League agreement in 2012 with the Mumbai Indians, but he didn’t make the playing XI in his debut season, in spite of making headlines for beating Sachin Tendulkar. He was transferred to the Kolkata Knight Riders years later, however did not play a match.
In IPL 2016, Kuldeep was bought by the KKR franchise, and he failed to disappoint. The slow-left-arm bowler picked up 6 wickets from 3 matches. Having been retained for 40 lakhs before the 2017 IPL, KKR was determined to invest more in their robust weapon.
And Kuldeep shone as well, picking up 12 wickets from 12 matches. Year 2018 saw him making quick records at the international level and IPL also saw him creating ripples.
