ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule Out: Pakistan to Play With India on February 23 in UAE

Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The India Vs Pakistan match will be played on February 23 in Dubai. Check out the details. 

Pakistan has officially announced the neutral venue for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The International Cricket Council on Thursday declared that matches between India and Pakistan for the upcoming ICC events till 2027, including Champions Trophy 2025, will be played at neutral venues. 

This announcement came after the acceptance of the “Hybrid Model” by PCB for the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan officially made an announcement declaring its neutral venue of voice for India’s matches will be the UAE, precisely Dubai. 

Pakistan will face off against India on February 23, Sunday. Besides Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand are the other two teams in India’s group. India will play against Bangladesh on February 20, and New Zealand on March 20, most likely to be held in Dubai. 

PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi met with Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak, a senior UAE minister and the head of the Emirates Cricket Board to finalize the decision. PCB spokesperson Amir Mir said, “The PCB has picked the UAE as a neutral venue for the Champions Trophy.” He further added that it has been conveyed to the ICC officially that India will play its face-off against Pakistan in Dubai. 

The defending champions, Pakistan, will commence the tournament on February 19 in Karachi, against New Zealand.  

The second group has Afghanistan, England, Australia, and South Africa. Apart from India games, the matches for both groups will be played in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
