The Harare Sports Club is a cricket stadium in Zimbabwe’s capital city, Harare. Established in 1900, the Harare Sports Club cricket stadium was known as Salisbury Sports Club until 1982. It is mostly utilized for cricket matches and has been the main cricket ground in Zimbabwe since its inception. The stunning gabled pavilion of the Harare Sports Cricket Ground, surrounded by jacaranda trees, is located in the center of the city. The highly guarded presidential residence and the esteemed Royal Harare Golf Club encircle it on opposite sides. The first test match at this venue was played in October 1992, and since then, HSC has served as Zimbabwe’s primary test and one-day venue.
