Dubai International Cricket Stadium: Photos, Pitch Behavior Records, Stats and Boundary Length

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium is one of the UAE’s three major cricket stadiums, along with Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Formerly known as the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, this stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000 and is set to be enlarged to 30,000. The Dubai Stadium features an advanced lighting system known as the “Ring of Fire.” This floodlighting system was specifically built to illuminate the Dubai Cricket Ground. Its spherical dome reduces shadows cast by objects below, and its 350 floodlights are arranged in a circle, reducing the need for floodlight towers.
