India Is Looking Forward To New Head Coach, Rahul Dravid To be Step Back After T20 World Cup 

As the latest news coming from the BCCI side, the Indian national cricket team is looking for a new head coach after the T20 World Cup 2024. BCCI has already set the application to hire the new head coach for the Indian team and the deadline is on 27th of May 2024 to go for the application. Rahul Dravid has made his decision clear to leave the position of head coach and already informed the BCCI about his decision, in fact the reason was not clear as only the rumor is spreading that due to busy schedule his with team India he was unable to give his time to his family and now after the world cup he can be relaxed and can spend time with his family wherever he wants. 

The Senior players of team India like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and others have requested Dravid to stay as a coach of test format for at least one year or till the end of the year but Dravid has already made up his mind to leave his position as a head coach for his reasons. Now as per the decision of the BCCI secretary “Jay Shah” has also made his words clear about the coaching of the India team that the BCCI will look for different coaches for the different formats in the future but there will be one head coach who will keep his eyes on all the formats for the betterment of the team. Rahul Dravid was appointed as the head coach of the Indian team in the year 2021 and under his leadership, India has also achieved many milestones and won great matches last year 2023  at the ODI World Cup Indian team completed his journey as the runner-up of the world cup 2023 with a consecutive win at every match from the stating to beginning and for that Indian team has got lots of appreciation from the fans.  

The head coach application is still out and the former star batsman of Indian team VVS Laxman is looking for the position of the head coach as per some news source he has filled out the application for the head coach. Rumors are also spreading that former Australian batsman and one of the most successful captains of Australia “Ricky Ponting”  should be the new head coach of the Indian Team but still, there is no action taken from the  Ricky Ponting side to be a part of the Indian team.
