ICC Announced Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: India and Pakistan to Meet in Dubai on February 23

ICC announced the fixtures of the ICC Men’s Championship Trophy 2025. Pakistan and UAE will be hosts. India will face Pakistan on February 23 in Dubai.

ICC announced the complete schedule on Tuesday for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. According to the schedule, the tournament will kick off on 19 February in Karachi with the clash between Pakistan and New Zealand.

After 2017, the 50-over tournament of 15 matches, an eight-team event came back to the international calendar for the first time, with Pakistan hosting the first global cricket tournament for the first time since co-hosting the 1996 World Cup with India and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan will host matches on its home ground in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, while UAE will host its matches in Dubai. Lahore will be the venue for both semi-final and final unless India qualifies, which means it will be played in Dubai.

The eight teams are divided into two groups; defending champions Pakistan and India are in Group A along with New Zealand and Bangladesh, as has been the case in the ICC events. England, Australia, South Africa, and Afghanistan comprise Group B.

On the opening day of the event, Pakistan will face off against New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February. The second day will see BAN vs IND in Dubai and Afghanistan taking on South Africa on 21 February in Karachi.

The following day, on February 22, one of the most celebrated cricket rivals, Australia and  England will hit the pitch in Lahore. The much-anticipated match, India vs Pakistan will be played on February 23 in Dubai.
