BCCI hasn’t Decided yet on the IPL 2025 Mega Auction Venue; Dubai, London, and cities in Saudi in consideration

With the IPL 2025 mega auction approaching next month, the BCCI hasn’t yet decided on a venue to host the auction proceedings. The auction is scheduled for the last week of November, and the BCCI is still confused into London, Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah to host the auction.

According to some reports, the only reason for the delay in finding a suitable venue is cost. However, that couldn’t be possible as BCCI is the richest cricket board in the world and IPL is one of the richest leagues across the globe; something like this can’t be digested.

London was shortlisted earlier, according to the reports by Cricbuzz. But then the BCCI decided to withdraw their decision due to the weather in London at that time of the year. At the current time, BCCI officials are now looking for a new place to host a day auction and accommodate the entire IPL delegation, and according to reports, Saudi cities can be shortlisted.
