The Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground is newly constructed in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. It is the second international cricket stadium in Gwalior after Captain Roop Singh Stadium, making MPCA (Madhya Pradesh Cricket Stadium) one of the few cricket associations facilitating two international cricket stadiums. Under the guidance of MPCA, the revamped stadium now boasts a seating capacity of 30,000, with plans to expand by an additional 20,000 if required.
Built to meet international cricket standards, the stadium features full-length boundary dimensions, nine playing pitches, floodlights, modern dressing rooms, a training facility, a media room, a gym, health centers, and office premises. The last international cricket match played in Gwalior was an ODI match between IND and SA in 2010 known for Cricket legend & God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar making history by becoming the first Int’l cricketer to score a double century in an ODI against South Africa.
