He scored 70 runs in the second inning before being dismissed by Glenn Phillips on the last ball of Day 3.

With this knock, Kohli becomes the fourth-highest run-getter for India in Tests. Virat played 116 Test matches for India so far and scored 9017 runs at an average of 48.74.

The third batter in this list is Sunil Gavaskar, who played 125 Tests for India between 1971 and 1987 and registered 10,122 runs at an average of 51.12.

The Wall of Indian Cricket Rahul Dravid is the third-highest run-getter for India in Tests. Dravid earned 164 Test caps for India and scored 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31.
