Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan T20 World Cup Squad 2024, which seems like a great balanced team full of young talents and experienced players.
There are many young names in this Pakistani T20 World Cup squad, like Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, and Saim Ayub who will play in their first World Cup. The rest of the squad is the same that has played in the T20 World Cup 2022, where they have reached the final, except for Md. Amir and Imad Wasim.
Md. Amir and Imad Wasim have returned to the team after a long time. Amir and Imad last played for their country in the T20 World Cup in the 2016 and 2019 editions, respectively. During this period, these two players have taken a retirement from international T20 cricket and taken it back to be available for selection in the 2024 World Cup.
